Welcome to the University of Arkansas' High Density Electronics Center (HiDEC) website. HiDEC is one of only a few working laboratories of its kind in the United States located on a university campus.  The High Density Electronics Center, at the University of Arkansas, strives to excel at education, research, and outreach.

Our mission is to perform state-of-the-art technological research for students, faculty, and our local and international clientele.

HiDEC provides students with a hands-on approach to learning. At HiDEC, students in various University of Arkansas graduate and undergraduate student programs have a unique opportunity to gain experience with state-of-the-art tools under the guidance of HiDEC staff. 

HiDEC also acts as a technological enabler for local businesses to perform necessary research and experimental prototyping.  HiDEC offers assistance to industry by providing access to center facilities and process training for their employees.
