Low-Temperature Co-fired Ceramic

The LTCC facility at HiDEC occupies approximately 3000 square feet of laboratory space. It is composed of an LTCC processing fab and a wet etching laboratory dedicated to processing thick copper on ceramic substrates. There is also space dedicated to handling and processing photo-defined conductors.

This laboratory offers a unique opportunity for students to pursue an advanced education in electronic packaging. This not only includes traditional classroom studies, but hands-on experience working on challenging research projects in collaboration with industry and government agencies.

Details about the capabilities and tooling in the LTCC lab can be found by clicking on items in the left-side menu.
